Well, we’ve finally made it. Not only is this my last year-end list, but it’s my last post of 2018. What a year it’s been. I could reflect on it for hours. But I won’t. Ain’t nobody got time for that. We’re here today to find out what shows I thought were the best 2018

Off the Chopping Block

Sometimes bad things happen to good shows. Sometimes the writing goes bad, others an important character leaves. And sometimes it’s something worse: cancelation. Some of my favorite TV shows have been canceled. It’s a strange kind of grief you feel when a show you love gets axed: sadness, bitterness, and a strange touch of nostalgia.

As I’ve gotten older and my tastes have changed, TV shows of all variety have held the exclusive title of my Favorite Program. From cartoons to live action, from children’s to adult programming, at every point in my life there was one show or another at the center of it. Today I am going to
