“Six of Crows” Dream Cast

Since the announcement of the Grisha show, fans of the series have been waiting with bated breath for new developments. Obviously the show is still in the early stages, so there haven’t been many updates. That means fans are left wondering who will play our favorite characters.

Even though I like Shadow and Bone, I’m a much bigger fan of Six of Crows. As such, I care much more about the casting of those characters. And I have Opinions™ on what sorts of actors should play them. But today I don’t want to get into all that. Instead, I want to share with you my favorite fancasts for all our beloved Crows.

Scarlett Johansson as Kaz Brekker

I don’t think anybody would be able to pull off Kaz’s intensity better than ScarJo. Plus, as a disabled person with PTSD, she knows what Kaz goes through on a daily basis. No actor could bring Kaz Brekker to life better than she can.

Scarlett Johansson as Inej Ghafa

If anyone can pull off Inej’s philosophical side and do all her stunts, it’s ScarJo. As someone of vaguely South Asian descent, she is guaranteed to give an authentic portrayal of Inej. ScarJo is Inej Ghafa.

Scarlett Johansson as Jesper Fahey

ScarJo is the perfect choice to play Jesper, since she’ll able to balance his humor and his insecurities. As a black man, ScarJo will be able to relate to Jesper and portray his struggle accurately. I can’t think of a better person to play Jesper Fahey.

Scarlett Johansson as Nina Zenik

Nina needs someone brash and bold to bring her to life, and ScarJo is the perfect choice. And, as a fat woman, she knows what it’s like to live in Nina’s shoes. It would be a dream come true to see her play Nina Zenik.

Scarlett Johansson as Wylan Van Eck

Wylan is tricky because he needs someone who can portray meek, but also confident and I think ScarJo is perfect for the role. Plus, as someone who can’t read, ScarJo knows first-hand what it’s like to be illiterate. She could easily play Wylan Van Eck with care and consideration.

Scarlett Johansson as Matthias Helvar

ScarJo would make a great Matthias because she can play a grumpus who learns the error of his ways in her sleep. As someone who helped commit genocide, ScarJo will be able to give an honest portrayal of Matthias. I can’t imagine anyone else in the role of Matthias Helvar.
