Ah, Goodreads. The social media site designed for readers. Where else can you keep track of your reading and bury yourself in a humongous metaphysical TBR? Nowhere! Goodreads truly is one of a kind.
And, naturally, it’s rife with book tag potential. So that’s what I’m going to be doing today. You know, in case the title didn’t make that clear.
-
What is the last book you marked as read?
You Must Not Miss by Katrina Leno
-
What is the last book you added to your TBR shelf?
Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman
-
What book do you plan to read next?
Her Royal Highness by Rachel Hawkins
I’m “currently reading” three books (including this one), but really only focusing on Nocturna by Maya Motayne. So I plan on focusing on HRH next.
-
Do you use the star rating system?
Yes, but my reasoning behind each star is slightly different than Goodreads’, as you can see.
-
Are you doing the 2019 Reading Challenge?
I am, sort of. I made it my goal to read one book this year because I’m reading for quality, not quantity. I’m using the challenge to help me keep track of all the books I’ve read.
-
Do you have a wishlist?
My TBR serves as my wishlist, though I don’t plan on buying every book.
-
Which book do you plan on buying next?
Ghosts of the Shadow Market by Cassandra Clare, et al.
That’s coming out next week.
-
Do you have any favorite quotes? Share a few!
You can justify anything if you do it poetically enough.” -M.L. Rio, If We Were Villains
Plenty of humans were monstrous, and plenty of monsters knew how to play at being human.” -V.E. Schwab, Vicious
-
Who are your favorite authors? Share a few!
Victoria “V.E.” Schwab, Neil Gaiman, Laini Taylor, and Cassandra Clare
-
Have you joined any groups?
The only group I’ve joined is Top 5 Wednesday, a weekly book discussion with a new topic every week. I post in this group frequently, but not every week.
Do you have any answers to any of these questions? Tell me in the comments!
I haven’t read any Neil Gaiman before, but I’m thinking about starting with Norse Mythology myself!

Anansi Boys is another I’m interested in as well. Some of the special editions for it make me drool haha. 😉
