Most Anticipated Books is a monthly series in which I discuss the releases I’m most excited for in the coming month.

My Impression: I mean. I MEAN. The Nevernight Chronicle has become one of my favorite series and I am dying to read the conclusion.

My Impression: The first book in this series is super cute. I’m usually wary of middle grade, but this series is a good one. I plan to read this in October.

My Impression: I just really dig when my two great loves— books and music— are combined.

My Impression: The magical tournament is one of my favorite tropes. I’m also a fan of the criminal underworld in fantasy stories. All-in-all, this book sounds right up my alley.

My Impression: This book is so far outside my wheelhouse, but still appeals to me for unknown reasons. Maybe because it gives me Red, White, & Royal Blue vibes? Who knows? All I know is I need to read it.

My Impression: It’s about lesbian necromancers. What more do you need?

My Impression: I love Doughty’s YouTube channel, Ask a Mortician. I’m also currently reading another of her books. Therefore, I need to read this one too.

My Impression: This first book reads like fanfiction, but cute fanfiction. I’d love some more cute fanfiction, especially when it’s about gays.
