Favorite Friday is a meme in which I discuss some of my favorite things. Some Fridays it’ll be based on a topic, while others it’ll just be about some of my recent favorites.
Earlier this year, I wrote a Favorite Friday post about my favorite YouTubers I’ve discovered so far this year. Well, I’ve discovered a few more that I really want to share with you all. And so I shall.
I was never a fan of Fred— in fact, I hated him. Lucas Cruikshank, on the other hand? He’s hilarious. I binged a bunch of his videos recently and got pretty obsessed for a while. I love his self-deprecating humor and his running gags about sugar daddies and butt injections. For a good laugh, check out Lucas!
I’ve recently really gotten into True Crime Youtube, and Stephanie is by far my favorite of the community. I love how in-depth she goes in her videos. She really knows how to keep the viewer engaged— which is good because her videos are often lengthy and have multiple parts. I also just dig her accent. If you’re interested in true crime, I recommend starting with Stephanie’s videos.
Over the years, I’ve gotten pickier over which BookTubers I follow. BookTube can sometimes feel like an echo chamber and tends to thrive on repetition. Therefore, I really appreciate BookTubers who tell it like it is. Chandler is the latest to fit that criteria. What’s crazy is that there’s a lot we don’t agree on, but I like her content anyway. She’s just got a great delivery. Everyone who comes to my blog for bookish posts should check out Chandler’s channel.
