Most Anticipated Books is a monthly series in which I discuss the releases I’m most excited for in the coming month.

My Impression: A sci-fi novel with a F/F romance? I’ve been chomping at the bit for this book since I first heard about it months ago.

My Impression: I don’t know if this book has a F/F romance, and I actually don’t care. This sounds like a book with great female friendships. And the whole plot hinges on a story? That is just *chef’s kiss*.

My Impression: I’m going to be real with you— the only reason I want to read this book is because it’s a F/F romance. I only found out about it recently and I put it on my TBR the second I heard there were lesbians.

My Impression: This book sounds deliciously dark and I’m so hype for it. I’ve also heard Bardugo used this book to explore and cope with her own trauma, so I have a feeling it’ll be an emotional read. You know this book is on my Halloween TBR.

My Impression: It is time for vampires to make a comeback, and if Ahdieh is the one to start it then I’m on board.

My Impression: This book sounds powerful and gay. I’m also really interested to see how a poet transfers their voice into prose.

My Impression: Sisters and their daughters sharing a legacy? Goddesses controlling everything? Women in general???? Something tells me this will be a book with lots of girl power. Also the thing on the cover looks like the Death Star.

My Impression: What can I say? Thor had me at “clockwork heart.” I’m also quickly falling in love with the science-fantasy genre.

My Impression: This story sounds so deliciously complex, a veritable Gordian Knot of morality. I also love that it’s inspired by North African culture.
