I saw this tag recently on Isabelle’s blog Bookwyrm Bites and thought it looked like fun. Online quizzes are always interesting. Why not find out which book characters I am?
Rules:
- Take all the quizzes down below and record your answers.
- NO CHEATING. You get one shot to take each quiz, my friends. I’m watching you.
- Use this post to give credit to the creator Loretta of The Laughing Listener or tag her on Twitter @LaughnListener so she can see everyone’s answers!!
- Tag some friends to spread the fun!
Red Queen: Evangeline

She may not have a crown on her head (yet?), but Evangeline is already our Queen! She’s fierce. Unstoppable. Cunning. Sassy. She has mastered the unique talent of complimenting and insulting someone all in the same sentence. We could go on and on, but basically we bow down to your greatness!
Honestly, I’m just content with the fact that Evangeline’s the gay one. I’m pretty sure. I only read the first book in full. I don’t know that I’m as awesome as these results makes me sound, but I’m happy to let others think so.
Shadowhunters: Will Herondale & Julian Blackthorn

You have the highest highs and the lowest lows. On your best day, you could conquer the world. You’re headstrong, fun, and considerate. But don’t let the bad days get you down. You have a habit of falling prey to insecurity and self-sacrificial tendencies, so keep looking ahead!
As an avid lover of The Shadowhunter Chronicles, I kind of agree with this one. Especially that it thinks I’m like the antihero king Julian.
Throne of Glass: Yrene & Elide

People may not give you enough credit upon meeting you, but you are brave beyond compare. You are intelligent and persevere through the toughest of circumstances. No one should underestimate you.
I may have abandoned this series in 2016, but I like these results. Underestimate me at your own peril, friends and foes.
The Hunger Games: Effie Trinket

Well, you’re certainly no shrinking violet, are you? You stand out in a crowded room and like the finer things in life. But despite your flamboyant nature you are one of the kindest and loving people out there and a dear friend. You may be surrounded by sorrow from time to time but you’ll always be upbeat, because you’re you. Keep on smiling.
Erm, I think this quiz made a mistake. I’ve never been someone who “stands out.” I tend to be a bit more optimistic, but I wouldn’t call myself upbeat.
Harry Potter: Dolores Umbridge

You love sweet, fluffy, pink things, but you can be ruthless and bitchy when it comes to fulfilling your ambitions.
PARDON????? The first part is completely untrue. The second part might be a little true.
A Court of Thorns and Roses: Lucien

Your soft heart, sharp tongue, and cynical nature bring laughter and fiery wit to every conversation. But that bravado simply hides the broken pieces of your soul, leftover from your family’s betrayal. You’ll need to figure out how to put yourself back together, and stiffen your backbone, in time to save yourself and your friends.
First of all, I’m going to need some explanations from my family as to when and why they betrayed me. This is news to me. Jokes aside, this is fairly accurate. Probably why he was my favorite character the first time I read ACOTAR.
The Raven Cycle: Barrington Whelk

You are fixated on an image or a goal— perhaps a career path or to recreate something from the past. Either way, it is this ambition that propels you forward throughout life. You have trouble making friends, but when you do build those relationships, they mean quite a lot to you.
I can’t say I’m happy to get Barrington as a result, but the explanation as to why makes a lot of sense.
Twilight: Charlie Swan

Hey, Charlie. You’re a cool dude. Just keep being your adorable oblivious self. Also, your daughter is now a vampire and your granddaughter is growing at the speed of life. Shouldn’t you notice that?
Rude.
Folk of the Air: Cardan

People naturally gravitate toward you. Although you may seem ambivalent on the outside, we know you care deep down. Deep, deep, deep, deep, deep down.
Actually, I don’t care. If I care about something or someone, you know.
The Lunar Chronicles: Cress

A Lunar shell confined to a satellite to aid Queen Levana with hacking and surveillance of Earthen countries. She is a petite girl with very long honey blonde hair, a heart-shaped face, and freckles. She has a very overactive imagination, and nervous around people due to her lack of social interaction growing up.
Okay, fair. I too have an overactive imagination and social anxiety.
Well, this was an interesting experiment. I can’t say I like or agree with all my results, but maybe the algorithm knows me better than I know myself.
Who do I tag? Honestly, I’m opening the floor to anyone who wants to give it a shot. If you have a book blog, consider yourself officially tagged!
