Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Billy of Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Reader that runs from Friday to Thursday in which bloggers answer a book-related prompt. It’s a great way to provide some insight into yourself and introduce yourself to some great new blogs.
Before I get into this, I just want to say I’m sorry for not posting for nearly two weeks. To be honest with you, I just didn’t feel like posting. I will once again be blaming quarantine for this. Anyway, on to this week’s discussion question!
If you own an eBook, would you also purchase a print copy as well?
The short answer is no, probably not.
The long answer is that I have once. I originally read Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston on my Kindle and loved it so much, I bought a physical copy.
I’ve also been on the hunt for a physical copy of If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio. I suppose I could just order a copy, but because I already own the eBook, I’d rather happen upon it in the store.
Basically, the book must be a favorite in order for me to buy it in another format. I still usually don’t though because I don’t have much space on my shelves and would rather use that space and my money on books I don’t already own.
Do you buy books in eBook and print? Why or why not? Let’s discuss in the comments!
My answer was pretty much the same as yours. If it’s really good and I want to share it, I might buy it. But usually I read it how I get it, and then move on. Thanks for sharing!
