Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Billy of Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Reader that runs from Friday to Thursday in which bloggers answer a book-related prompt. It’s a great way to provide some insight into yourself and introduce yourself to some great new blogs.
If you haven’t read a book in a while and someone asks about a character or the plot, can you recall the details?
Yes, somewhat.
I find I come across this more when reading the next book in a series without rereading the book(s) beforehand. I remember the big picture and some details, but find I’ve forgotten other details.
I would say I remember character details better than plot details. This is probably because I value characters above all, both in reading books and in my own writing. Whenever possible, I find a plot summary online of past books in a series so I can be better prepared for the newest installment.
