Most Anticipated Books is a monthly series in which I discuss the releases I’m most excited for in the coming month. In August, there are four books coming out that I’m excited to read.
I Kissed a Girl by Jennet Alexander

My Impression: I’ve said this before, but I love books involving famous people. Make it a F/F romance, and I’m even more hyped.
A Lesson in Vengeance by Victoria Lee
Summary: Felicity Morrow is back at Dalloway School.

My Impression: This is a sapphic dark academia book. What more do I need to say?
Velvet Was the Night by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

My Impression: A noir book by Moreno-Garcia? That incorporates rock ‘n’ roll? Yes please!
My Heart is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones

My Impression: A thriller about colonization told through the lens of horror films? That sounds so cool. I love horror movies, so I’m super excited for this one.
