The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme that runs from Friday to Thursday in which bloggers answers a book-related prompt. It’s a great way to provide some insight into yourself and introduce yourself to some great new blogs.

You know how no one knows who Kell Maresh’s birth mother is?

I’m trading places with whoever his mom is. That way I can live in the world of Red London and also give Kell the love and appreciation he deserves.

Honestly, I’ve always suspected it was Calla, given how invested she is in his life. My theory is she and Kell’s father knew they wouldn’t be able to keep him safe when his eye turned black, so they traveled to the Going Waters and traded years off his father’s life to ensure Kell would be safe with the royals and not remember him. Of course, Calla couldn’t stay away from him, so she traveled to London to make sure she could keep an eye on him and watch him grow. If this is the case, at least his mother did her best by him. (Check out my full theory on this here!)

Either way, I want to be in this world and figured this is the best way to sneak myself in without tearing apart the existing relationships. Also, Kell is my son and I love him. He is Kell Strange now.
