Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Billy of Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Reader that runs from Friday to Thursday in which bloggers answer a book-related prompt. It’s a great way to provide some insight into yourself and introduce yourself to some great new blogs.
Do you visit indie and/or used bookstores? Also, have you ever worked in any?
I live in a small town, so there really aren’t any indie or used bookstores. Sadly, I don’t think it’s a profitable business around here because every time there is one, it quickly goes out of business.
And that sucks because, as much as I love Barnes & Noble, I really want to support indie and used bookstores. That said, I have bought some used books online and it really helps save money.
As for the second question, I’ve never worked in any kind of bookstore. My local B&N isn’t close enough to try and get a job there. But I’d love to work in a bookstore, even if just for a while. My bank account, however, does not want me to.
