I was browsing some new blogs today, when I came across a new tag I thought was just neat. This tag is, as you can tell by the title, the Four Word Summary Challenge. For this challenge, you have to summarize a book using only four words. Those words cannot include character names or any other words or terms specific to the book (ex. the clue cannot be “Harry discovers magical secret” or “Dementors make Quidditch hard”). As being overly wordy is one of my writing faults, this is especially a challenge for me (and yet I have the gall to drag Charles Dickens for it every chance I get). However, that’s not the real challenge. The real challenge in the Four Word Summary Challenge is that you guys have to guess what books I’m talking about.
Oh, the struggling that could cause! I’m excited just thinking about it. Does that make me a bit of a sadist? Eh, we’ll dissect that at a later time. Because right now? I’m throwing down the gauntlet.
