Favorite Friday: Recent Favorites

Blog Updates

Favorite Friday is a meme in which I discuss some of my favorite things. Some Fridays it’ll be based on a topic, while others it’ll just be about some of my recent favorites.

As you can tell by the title, today’s post is going to be the latter. I couldn’t think of a specific topic I wanted to discuss, so I figured I’d get a little more generic. And so, here are some things I’ve considered favorites as of late.

  1. Schitt’s Creek

I just started watching this show a week or so ago and am already on the third season. It’s so funny. The show follows the Rose family, who are left destitute after a bad business deal. They are forced to move to a small town Johnny Rose once bought as a joke and live in a motel. It’s like Arrested Development but with characters that are willing to become better people. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend checking it out.

  1. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I recently let my friends on Twitter bully me into reading this series for the first time in three years. I am so glad I did because I forgot how good it is. All this time, I knew I loved it but now I remember exactly why. I may or may not be planning a post about it. For now, let’s just say there’s a reason this series is part of the bookish community’s Holy Trinity.

  1. Color by Number

I’ve been really into paint by number apps since I broke my ankle, but this is the one I’ve enjoyed the most. Instead of coloring, you’re doing a puzzle. For some reason, that’s really been clicking with me. If you need something to do when you’re bored, try this app.

What are some of your recent favorites? Do you like any of the things I mentioned? Let’s discuss in the comments!
