Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Billy of Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Reader that runs from Friday to Thursday in which bloggers answer a book-related prompt. It’s a great way to provide some insight into yourself and introduce yourself to some great new blogs.
What book or series can you see getting made into a movie and not being horribly re-written?
I know what you’re thinking. “Isn’t this the same as last week’s question?” And the answer is no. In fact, there’s just enough nuance that I have a different answer this week.
I think Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur would make a great movie.

I’ve seen all the calls for the return of the rom-com, and what better way to bring it back than with my favorite rom-com novel? It’s got everything: fake dating, hate to love, witty banter, & sapphics. What more could you need?!
This was my first 5-star read of the year and I just know a film adaptation would also be 5 stars. It would be so easy to get right— just follow the book exactly. Let it be everything Happiest Season wasn’t. This is the F/F rom-com we all deserve.
What book do you think could actually be adapted into film well? Let me know in the comments!

Ahhh I eyed this one when it first came out but then it kinda slipped through the cracks. I’ll slide it into my Feb TBR! I’ve read a string of really bad queer romances recently, so something nice and sweet would be a hell of a palette cleanser. 😀

I hope you like it! I’d been searching for a long time for a F/F romance to dethrone Red, White, & Royal Blue as my favorite romance and I finally did!
