WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam of Taking on a World of Words. It’s basically a fun way to update your readers on your current reading. The questions are based on the Three Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading
Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust

This month I’m taking part in #FFFeb, a month-long semi-readathon for books featuring F/F romances. This is the second book I’ve picked up for that readathon and one I’ve been meaning to pick up for a while. It’s a Snow White retelling told from the perspective of the Snow White character and her step-mother. Snow White, or Lynet as she’s called in this book, has a romance with a female surgeon. I’m really liking it so far.
Recently Finished
Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 1 by Hiromu Arakawa (Translated by Akira Watanabe)

Yeah, so I may fail this readathon. Fullmetal Alchemist has no canon sapphics at all (though I contend General Olivier Armstrong is a lesbian). But I just binged Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for the first time (in three days, no less) and have a major FMA hangover. So, I decided to read the manga! I didn’t know this was possible, but Edward Elric is even more feral and unhinged in the manga than the anime… and I love it. I can’t wait to continue the series!
Reading Next
The Never Tilting World by Rin Chupeco

If I manage to pull myself out of Fullmetal hell long enough, this is the book I plan on reading next for #FFFeb. First of all, look at that cover. It’s stunning. More to the point, this book has goddesses as characters and a F/F romance. (And hopefully reading this series will finally motivate me to finish The Bone Witch trilogy.)
What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments!

I’m reading The Unstoppable Wasp by Sam Maggs at the moment ❤️

I 100% support your headcanon that General Olivier Armstrong is a lesbian. It’s been so long since I watched Brotherhood, but I loved it so much! I’ve actually never read the manga, so I’ll be curious how you like it compared to the anime.

So far, it seems that Brotherhood was a very faithful adaptation. I’m excited to keep reading, but I’ll probably hold off until March to continue so I can finish Girls Made of Snow and Glass lol!
